You can find a wide range of early career roles available at Jacobs all year round. As a technology-enabled solutions provider, we cover the full spectrum of professional services including consulting, technical, scientific and project delivery. MOTT MACDONALD
At Mott MacDonald we offer a wide variety of opportunities for those starting out in their career, these include:

We open for applications in September and encourage students to apply nice and early, however, we generally have opportunities to apply for all year round. Our main intake dates are September for most opportunities (excluding summer placements), however, if you are available sooner and want to get started then we can usually accommodate this.
As one of our early career professionals, you’ll learn from industry experts, receive structured training, and gain experience on community-enhancing projects. When you join us, you’re partnered with a mentor who will help you through your development plan.
Our graduates join “Accelerating Your Future”, a three-year development programme that introduces you to key business and commercial competencies we know graduates need to succeed at Mott MacDonald. Virtual and face-to-face workshops, as well as group challenges, are used to deliver the programme to our graduates across the UK and Ireland.
Our apprentices are enrolled onto “Developing Your Future”, a two-year programme that helps you navigate that start of your career and to balance the commitments of work and education. The programme is delivered through virtual and face-to-face workshops and group challenges Not only is it an opportunity to learn, but also to build your internal network.
Within Mott MacDonald, the Early Careers Professionals (ECP) network is a progressive, innovative, and self-sustaining community that connects professionals in the first 10 years of their career. RAMBOLL
Ramboll offers a wide range of early careers opportunities across our markets in the UK. These opportunities are available on Ramboll’s early careers page at specific times during the year. Ramboll is committed to invest in early careers to develop our people for the future with initiatives such as the 5% club, currently Platinum membership and Disability Confident employer scheme. Internally, early careers are assigned a training programme for 2 years to help them to develop and flourish.
These are opportunities that Ramboll provides:
Work Experience Programme
Students can apply to one-week structured work experience to gain industrial experience. This programme takes place during July, but we may consider different months of the year upon request. Work experience consist of pairing the student with a mentor, job shadowing different teams and invitation to employability webinars.
Placements
Undergrads can apply to placements ranging from 2-12 months. These opportunities provide deeper insight to a particular role in the business. You will be supported by a mentor and are paid the real living wage for the duration of your placement.
Apprenticeships
Ramboll typically offers Level 3-6 apprenticeships. These opportunities are great for anyone who wants to retrain or get into STEM.
Graduate roles
Graduate roles are generally open between September to December. Candidates are invited to assessment centre and successful candidates generally starts around September/ October the following year (Ramboll hire one year in advance). Everyone is assigned the early careers training programme for 2 years and paired with a mentor.
